A Jonesboro, Arkansas, man was charged in connection with a shooting on East 13th Street in Hopkinsville that happened on March 10th.
Hopkinsville Police say they received a call of shots fired just before 1 pm, and located shell casings in the road along with a car that had been hit as well, near the intersection of Broad Street.
24-year-old Adante Brown and another man reportedly showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds shortly after law enforcement arrived on East 13th Street.
After further investigation, Police say Brown was arrested on Thursday on Glass Avenue and charged with second-degree assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and first-degree wanton endangerment in connection with the shooting.
Police have not released the name of the other person injured in the shooting or an update on his condition, but police say they believe the other man was acting in self-defence.
