James Maurice Hollowell, 59, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky.
Born in Christian County, Kentucky, on February 6, 1967, he was the son of the late James Dillard. His mother is Shirley Hollowell Pendleton.
James was employed as a cook at Wendy’s Restaurant. He enjoyed barbecuing and playing corn hole.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Vanessa Hollowell, Antonio Hollowell, James Hollowell, Jr., and Tyresse Hollowell; three siblings, Kerry White, Lonrenzo White, and Debbie Waddell; six grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Church, 212 Sanderson Drive in Hopkinsville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Church.
Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.
