The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is inviting the public to an upcoming Quilt Show at the Pennyroyal Area Museum, opening Tuesday, April 21 and running through May 30.
The exhibit will feature 16 quilts and decorative quilt tops from the museum’s collection, showcasing handcrafted pieces dating from the 1860s through the 1970s and highlighting a range of quilting styles and techniques.
Several special events are planned during the show, including a members-only opening reception on April 21, a Quilt Show & Tell on May 16 where the public can share their own quilts, and a hands-on quilt packing and storage demonstration on June 2.
