Man Charged With Drug Possession On Clinic Drive

A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug possession after a report of him driving recklessly on Clinic Drive Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for 39-year-old John Giles Jr., who was speeding, then parked in the middle of a parking lot aisle and passed out.

After a search of his vehicle, suspected meth, fentanyl, a syringe, and meth pipes were reportedly found on him and in his vehicle.

He was also found to have been trespassed from all Walmart properties in October of 2025.

He was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offenses, possession of fentanyl, and third-degree criminal trespassing.
