An apartment building was damaged in a fire on South Henderson Drive in Hopkinsville on Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for a fire in the back of the building and found smoke coming from the roof.
All three apartments were evacuated displacing four people.
Rogers says most of the fire damage was to an attached outbuilding on the back of the structure.
One of the occupants was checked out by Hopkinsville EMS but was not transported to the hospital.
The American Red Cross was called to help with the people who are displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
