A Baytown, Texas, man was charged after a report of a shot being fired in the area of Grant Avenue in Oak Grove on Wednesday night.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to the area for a report of a shot being fired and located 21-year-old Alvaro Mendoza-Sandoval, who stated he fired a shot into the ground while coming back from a beer run at the gas station.
He was reportedly found to have cocaine, marijuana, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, along with a bag of cocaine in his pocket that he tried to hide inside the home.
He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
