The 2026 UK Wheat Field Day brought people from all over the country to learn about the current happenings in the wheat industry.
Included in the day was three stops, each featuring different speakers. Stop A included Dr. Chad Lee & Allie Mutter, Dr. Grant Gardner, Dr. Tim Stombaugh, and Dr. Carrie Knott. Stop B included Dr. Carl Bradley, Dr. Mohammad Shamim, Dr. Travis Legleiter, and Dr. Felipe Batista. Stop C included Dr. Dave Van Sanford & Dr. Lauren Brzozowski and Bill Bruening.
Dr. Stombaugh said his goal with his presentation on drone application coverage was to educate farmers on the technology.
