A Hopkinsville man died at the hospital after he was shot on North McPherson Avenue Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say someone fired a shot from a vehicle hitting the man in the abdomen just after 5 p.m. He was treated at the scene by Hopkinsville EMS and then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he later died.
No one else was injured in the shooting and no description of the suspect’s vehicle has been released.
