An Owensboro woman has also been charged in connection to a robbery at the Dollar General on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville that happened April 12th.
Hopkinsville Police say 37-year-old Syliva Castro has also been charged along with Maurice Watkins who entered the store armed with a gun and took money from the register before fleeing the area on foot.
Castro reportedly helped by driving Watkins away from the area after the robbery.
Watkins was taken into custody Tuesday with the assistance of the Henderson Police Department, Owensboro Police Department, and the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office.
Watkins is charged with first-degree robbery in Hopkinsville and is facing other robbery charges in other counties across Kentucky.
Castro was arrested and charged with complicity to first-degree robbery.
