A single-vehicle wreck on Linton Road in Trigg County killed the driver on Sunday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say at 10:17 pm, a truck was westbound when it ran off the road and collided with an embankment just past Lake Vista Drive.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and then taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter, but died before being transported to the hospital.
Deputies were assisted by Trigg County EMS, Trigg County Rescue, and the Linton Fire Department.
