GOOD NEWS — CCPS Announces Next Crop Of GSA Attendees

Christian County Public Schools has announced that four students have been selected for prestigious statewide summer programs.

Cody Smith of Christian County High School will attend the Governor’s School for the Arts in instrumental music. Addison Renshaw, also from Christian County High, along with Evelyn Bangart, Kaley Bangart, and Madelin Macario from Hopkinsville High School, have been chosen for the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.

Superintendent Chris Bentzel says the selections are a tremendous honor, highlighting the students’ dedication and talent.

The Governor’s School for the Arts is a three-week program for high school sophomores and juniors focused on nine artistic disciplines, while the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs provides hands-on experience in innovation, business development, and leadership.
