In Loving Memory of Sandra K. Decarli, June 14, 1961 – April 16, 2026
Sandra K. Decarli, 64, of Allensville, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 4:30pm.
Born on June 14, 1961, in Graves County, she was the daughter of the late Otis Watson and Gladys Watts McCalister (Noble). Sandra was a woman of great resilience who lived life with an adventurous spirit and a heart that was entirely her own. Throughout her life, Sandra found a true calling in taking care of others.
Whether she was managing the kitchen at the Veterans Center or providing dedicated care for the elderly, she had a natural gift for nurturing those in need. Many in the community will also remember her from her time at the Buck Stop, where she treated every customer like a neighbor. She was happiest when she was in the kitchen. To Sandra, cooking home-cooked meals was the ultimate way to show love, and she took great joy in making sure no one ever left her table hungry.
When she wasn’t cooking, she found peace in tending to her houseplants, creating intricate beadwork, and listening to the music that moved her. She was a fighter who faced many of life’s battles with courage. Through it all, she maintained her relationship with Jesus and remained a woman with a heart of gold. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she loved more than life itself.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Watson. She is survived by: • Her three daughters: Amber K. Dodson (Gabriel), Katie Davis (Cody), and Amy Fostervold. • Five grandchildren: Ava, Adalyn, Zaylee, Knox, and Lincoln. • Two brothers: Roger Watson (Sheila) and Randy Watson (Donna).
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
