A memorial visitation for 81-year-old Doris Ann Goode of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Kelly Baptist Church in Kelly, Kentucky.
A private graveside service will be held at Millwood Cemetery at a later date.
She passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born on February 23, 1945, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William Franklin Kenady and Edith Montez Atwood Kenady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Goode, and her brothers, John Kenady, Don Kenady, Roy Kenady, and Jack Kenady, and sister-in-law, Vickey Kenady.
Doris was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt. She loved spending time with her family, being outdoors, and going on bargain hunt adventures. She worked as a lab technician at Jennie Stuart Hospital for nearly 20 years.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Tonya) Goode and Lea Ann (Andy) Brumfield; her brother Larry Eli Kenady, and her sister Judy (Granvel) Dulin; her grandchildren, Shane (Paige) Brumfield, Braxton Goode, Lanie Brumfield; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Kenady, Martha Kenady, and Anna Kenady.
Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in care of the arrangements.
